One of the best things about living in Pennsylvania is everything that you will be able to see and visit within your own state. You don't need to travel across the country to get an experience that you and your passengers will remember for a lifetime. Today, here at Reedman-Toll Subaru of Exton, we want to help give you a few ideas as to what you could be doing this summer. Nothing is more important to us than giving our customers exactly what they're looking for. Keep reading down below for some of the road trips in Pennsylvania that we recommend you try out! You won't regret the memories that will be made.

Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon

Yes, you read that correctly. The state of Pennsylvania has its own Grand Canyon, and while it isn't as vast as the other Grand Canyon you might've heard about, Pine Creek Gorge can be just as beautiful and memorable to visit. This is an ancient canyon that offers you amazing surrounding trails, unique lookout points, and a picturesque drive along routes 44 and 414. You will be able to drive around this area in just under three or four hours, and we recommend you take a picnic with you! Whether you visit one of the local museums, or you spend time hiking, this is a beautiful way to spend a day.

Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail

Pennsylvania is a state that knows plenty about wineries, and this is a central-located wine trail that should enable you to taste-test all of the finest wines that the state has to offer. You can even stop by tasting rooms, or tours, like the ones at Shade Mountain or Spyglass Ridge. We highly recommend antiquing in Selinsgrove or taking a beautiful hike in Shikellamy State Park. There's something for everyone when you choose this route.

Greater Philadelphia to Hershey

Looking for a unique route? The urban highway 76 slowly gives way to country roads the closer you get to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Once you arrive, you'll find a beautiful town with a history that we all know and love. You even get to spend the day at Hershey Park, or perhaps you're more interested in ZooAmerica. This is a trip that you can easily take in a day, though we recommend you spend extra time in Lancaster for a tour of Amish Country.
