2.5i:
The base model of the Outback comes standard with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 174 lb-ft of torque and 175 horsepower. This engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission which powers all of the wheels. The standard features you'll find include a USB interface, an auxiliary audio jack, a 4-speaker sound system with a CD player, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, Subaru's Starlink 6.5-inch touchscreen interface, Bluetooth, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, air-conditioning, a rearview camera, automatic headlights, hill holding assist, hill descent control, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

However, it adds more features like a six-speaker sound system, three additional USB ports, satellite radio, a larger 8-inch touchscreen, a cargo cover, heated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lights, a windshield wiper de-icer, heated exterior mirrors, and rear privacy glass. You can also opt to add the Power Moonroof package to get a power moonroof and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. A standalone option is a power liftgate with memory height.
